Discount & sale price calculator

Calculate sale prices, savings, two successive discounts and optional sales tax.

How it works

Sale price = original price × (1 − first discount/100) × (1 − second discount/100). Savings = original price − sale price. Total = sale price × (1 + tax/100).

Successive discounts multiply; they do not add. Tax is applied to the discounted amount in this tool. Enter the rate that applies to your purchase. Retailer rounding, coupon conditions, shipping and fees can change the final bill.

Example

A price of 100 with 20% off, then another 10% off, becomes 72: a combined discount of 28%. With 13% tax, the total is 81.36.
