Practical tools. Visible assumptions.

Why Calcitopia exists

Calcitopia brings 16 free practical calculators together to help you plan materials, compare quantities and understand everyday costs. No account is required. Calculations run in your browser.

What you can calculate

Garden: soil, mulch and gravel. Renovation: paint, flooring, tiles and wallpaper. Building materials: metal weight, concrete and drywall. Measurements and energy: room area, unit conversions and electricity cost. Everyday life: package unit prices, trip fuel cost and recipe portions.

How we calculate

Each calculator explains its formula, required inputs and limits. Dimensions are converted to compatible units before calculation; results are rounded for display. Whole bags, packs and cans are rounded up when the tool reports a purchase quantity. Prices and coverage come from your own product label or supplier; we do not provide live quotes.

Metal weight estimates

Metal mass is cross-sectional area × length × density × piece count. Choose the actual grade or enter supplier density. Reference densities and their sources appear in the calculator. Hollow profiles assume uniform walls and sharp corners; coatings, welds, holes and manufacturing tolerances are not included.

Check the scope

These tools help estimate quantities and costs. They do not certify material interchangeability, structural suitability or a purchasing specification. Check measurements, units, product labels and project requirements before ordering. For safety-critical work, use qualified professional advice.

Help us improve

If a result seems unexpected, contact us with the calculator name, units, inputs and expected result. Please do not include personal or sensitive information. We use feedback to investigate errors and improve explanations.
